The gym for your brain at work. AI does not make you stronger by itself, any more than a gym membership does. Training does. Here is the programme, in reps and sets.
Six exercises. Funny names, serious technique. Each one is a habit that makes the difference between "AI gave me something generic" and "AI saved me an afternoon".
Go deep. A shallow prompt gets a shallow answer.
The heavy lift. The model only knows what you put on the bar.
Never cross the finish line without checking.
The first draft is the warm-up, not the workout.
Big tasks are lifted in pieces.
Stability. The core of everything else.
Pick your level and how long you have. The coach builds today's session from real exercises on real work. Tick them off as you go: your streak is kept on this device only.
There is no secret formula to copy-paste. There is clear writing, good context and a couple of rounds of feedback. Boring, effective.
Sounding sure costs nothing. Models can state wrong facts fluently. Confidence of tone tells you nothing about accuracy.
Using a calculator is not cheating either. Hiding it, or handing in work you did not check, is the problem. Follow your team's rules and be open about it.
One session at the gym does not build muscle either. Most people give up after a vague first prompt. Try the squats and the deadlifts before judging.
Do not paste confidential or personal data into tools your company has not approved.
Share prompts that worked with your team. A good instruction is a training plan for everyone.
Some work should stay fully yours: decisions, difficult conversations, the thinking you want to get better at.
If you cannot explain or check the output, do not ship it.
